As a Principal in the Business Strategy practice, Brad Gerdeman brings nearly 20 years of business strategy, marketing strategy, brand management and communications experience to bear for clients. His expertise in solving complex business and brand issues for global clients has made him instrumental in driving growth for B-to-B and B-to-C clients in an array of industries: packaged goods, industrials, beverages, technology, pharmaceutical, medical devices, and telecommunications.

Brad has consistently driven tangible business results for clients. His strategic leadership has enabled them to successfully commercialize new products, create organic growth in stagnant markets and transform their marketing to drive the business agenda. He has also been instrumental in developing Zyman Group’s intellectual capital having led or co-led new solutions development including the firm’s Marketing Transformation approach. He is also the architect behind several of the firm's most notable case studies.

Prior to joining Zyman Group, Brad served as Director, Worldwide Marketing & Communications for Delta Air Lines. While there, Brad was responsible for consumer marketing strategy, activation and strategic alliances on a global basis. During his tenure, marketing helped Delta earn more than a $1 billion in annual profits for 3 consecutive years (prior to 9/11)—a feat never accomplished before or since in the airline industry. Prior to Delta, Brad held several leadership positions in the advertising agency business. The majority of his time was spent at BBDO where he managed strategy development and accounts in retail, food service, packaged goods and travel/leisure marketing.

Brad received his MBA in Marketing and BA in Zoology from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He is based in New York City.
