Jim focuses on business strategies, marketing strategies and customer insights across a wide variety of industries drawing on experience with some of the premier consulting and corporate clients in the world. While bringing experience in B2B markets such as renewable energy, industrial metals, specialty chemicals, telecommunications, Jim also has consumer experience within entertainment, sports marketing and food processing markets.
Prior to joining Zyman Group, Jim worked with NCR Corporation where he had roles in marketing and product management for the retail services and retail scanners groups. Jim launched new service offerings and altered the go-to-market approach driving key service wins. Jim also guided a turnaround effort to retain industry leadership position in retail scanners.
Goepfert also has significant business strategy and process development experience with Boston Consulting Group and Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), developing business transformation, market entry and new product launch strategies along with operational assessments and competitive analysis. Jim has led process development and implementation projects to launch multiple start-up wireless international telecommunications operators.
Jim holds an MBA with honors from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Computer Science from Cornell University. He has been an instructor in Management for the undergraduate program at The Wharton School. Jim has lived and worked in Brazil and speaks fluent Portuguese. |
